Employment contract

Initial contract: Probationary employee contract – 2 years
Second contract: Permanent employee contract – 6 months to 3 years
Subsequent contracts:Permanent employee contract – 6 months to 3 years

The initial contract for new personnel shall have a probationary period of 2 years. An initial performance evaluation shall be conducted for the first 90-day of work performance. In case of failure, the University shall terminate the contract. Upon having passed the first 90-day performance evaluation, personnel shall be evaluated at 6-month intervals until the initial contract expires, after which a second contract shall be offered. 

Personnel with excellent work performance and continuing distinguished achievement, who have been employed for five consecutive years, may be recommended by their superior to have their employment contract renewed as a permanent employee for a non-specified term.
