Request for Overseas Travel

Answer: In case of travelling abroad without using the leave entitlement, a request form for overseas travel is required to be submitted to notify the President. The request to travel overseas is required to be made at least 7 working days prior to the travel.

Annual Leave

Answer: The university employee with his/her employment of at least 1 year is entitled to an annual leave of 10 working days a year.
Answer: The university employee cannot accumulate his/her annual leave.
Answer: The employee who has not completed 1 year of employment cannot take the annual leave.

Leave Entitlement for Academic Staffs

Maternity Leave

Answer: The university employee can take maternity leave of up to 90 days per pregnancy and is entitled to a full pay for the first 45 days but not exceeding 15,000 baht a month for the last 45 days. 
Answer: The university employee is not entitled to do so.
Answer: Yes, it is. However, if you have taken any other leave before taking maternity leave and it overlaps the maternity leave, such leave will be terminated on the first date of maternity leave and the leave count will continue from the first date of maternity leave. 
Answer: If she is on a full time study leave, she will not be eligible for other leave entitlement during her study leave.

Sick Leave

Answer: A medical certificate from a doctor with a diploma or an authorized doctor is required to be submitted for a sick leave of more than 3 working days.

Other Types of Leave

Answer: Yes, you may cancel the Sick Leave Request Form as follows:
  1. In case the sick leave has been approved, you may cancel the Sick Leave Request Form by creating a Service, cancel the approved Service and seek the Sick Leave Request Form you wish to cancel.
  2. In case the sick leave is pending for approval, please check who handles the Sick Leave Service and ask him/her to cancel the sick leave or return the work.

Answer: According to the KMUTT’s Regulation on the Rules and Procedures for University Staff Sick Leave B.E. 2555 (2012) and the KMUTT’s Regulation on the Rules and Procedures for University Employee Sick Leave B.E. 2557 (2014), it is required to use the university’s Leave Request Form pursuant to the KMUTT’s regulation B.E. 2557 (2014) thereof. 
Answer: The employee who has not completed one budget year of his/her employment is entitled to leave pursuant to the KMUTT’s Regulation on the Rules and Procedures for University Employee Sick Leave B.E. 2557 (2014) provided, however, that such leave will be proportionated according to the days of his/her completed service. The proportion rule will not apply to maternity leave.
